Hey FCCLAers! Sorry I don't update this more! We have a couple of things going on right now!
We have started our jewelry fundraiser! If you sell 12 items, you receive a free item of your choosing! See Mrs. Scott for a packet!
Let the Fight Begin is set for October 23 @ 3:30 at our school. See Shelby Garner, Kelsey Batts, or Mrs. Scott if you would like to participate. It is $25 to register to walk, and you recieve a tee shirt. If you do not want to walk, but want to buy one of the cute tee shirts, they cost $10.
STAR event people should begin working on their projects. If you need any help, please feel free to see Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Starnes or any of the officers!
That's it for now!

FCCLA updates
Hey yall! Sorry it's been a while since our last post. Things have been hectic! Our officers have been working on keychains, blankets, and all kinds of goodies to sell this year! This Friday, September 24th is the breakfast for the first 25 members.
Wednesday FCCLA is wanting you to have dinner with your family to support family togetherness! The last day to pay dues is October 1st. We will kick off our jewelry fundraiser October 4th. All members are expected to participate.
This past week, FCCLA went to Fall Leadership at UT Martin. There, we met our new state president KK Carr, listened to a speaker from LeBouhner, learned more about Power of One, and even won for having the best PSA (public service announcement)!

Post Nationals

Hey there! It's been a while! I hope everyone is having a great summer! School starts in two weeks; this summer has flowwwnnn by! Chicago looked like a fun trip! Kelsey, Sydney, Lauren, and Lindsey all recieved Silver in their competitions, and Kelsey B. recieved Gold! Good job girls! They saw a familiar face to BHS while they were there- Mike Donahue. If you forgot, he came to our school a few months ago to share his message about how we treat each other. Lauren Perry, who is our chapter President-Elect and state President, carried the Tennnessee flag on stage during opening/closing general sessions. The girls went to Nationals with Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Nagler, and Tori Mills. They saw Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob Rolloff from TLC's Little People Big World!
We have had two different officers lunch/dinners this summer! The new officers got together with Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Starnes in June, and the old officers met in July. I had so much fun hanging out with all of them. It was nice to be able to see our seniors one last time before they leave for college in a few weeks! Good luck to all of them.
That is it for now! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! See you when school starts!

Congratulations to the new officer team for the 2010-2011 school year. Being an officer is more than having a title to call your own; it's a sisterhood. These girls become some of your closest friends. I am so excited to be part of next year's team. It will be a lot of hard work and dedication, but I think we are all up for the challenge.

tomorrow's the end of an amazing year as officer (: and the beginning of another great year.
So tomorrow is my last day as STAR event coordinator. I am so excited for next year. I hope the officer team is just as great as it was this year. The last day with senior officers is Friday and Im sad. I will miss them tons!
Tomorrow night is the banquet and instillation of new officers. This will probably be one of the last posts until next school year. I definitely have mixed feelings about tomorrow night. I am pumped about next year, but sad to see this year end so quickly.
Senior officers--->if your reading this, thank you so much for an amazing year in FCCLA. I will miss all of you so much next year. Please visit us.
LP goes for her first STATE officer trip this weekend. I am so proud of her. I hope she has a ton of fun with all of the other officers and their advisers.
Well see you tomorrow night if your going!
